Pediatric Medical Daycare was started in 1999 by Leeanna Román Lozada. At the time her goal was to create an innovative and award-winning medical day care program for medically fragile children in South Jersey. Today this mother of four has transformed Providence Pediatric Medical Daycare Inc. into a thriving operation that operates three locations in New Jersey.

Our staff of professionals provides comprehensive care for children with special needs in a loving, caring, warm and friendly atmosphere. Our programs include health, and therapeutic services provided by licensed pediatric RN, LPN and Nurse’s Aids as well as education from certified early childhood educators and teachers aids.
We provide individualized programs designed to complement each child’s development level, while providing quality medical care and attention. Parents are welcome to visit or centers at any time to observe their children playing and socializing in a safe fun environment designed to develop their social, mental creative and physical skills.
Our centers are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm. Some centers are open from 8:00 to 4:00pm.
Yes, because of our staff to child ratio of 1:3, our programs are customized to compliment the individual child’s development level.
Yes, our dietitian will design special menus to meet the nutritional requirements of the medically challenged children in our care.
Yes, we offer transportation to and from our centers in buses with experienced staff trained for children with special medical needs.
We receive referrals from: Department of children Protection and Permanency (DCPP); hospitals; social workers; physicians; discharge planners; nurse practitioners; early intervention & medical case managers; pediatric specialists; home health care agencies; families of our enrolled children.
